South Extended Family

The day Leighton started gymnastics she walked in next to a little red headed girl. It was their first day too and we had no idea what was in store! ;) The other little girl was Natalie. What we didn't know that first day was that Natalie and Leighton would become very good friends. And along with their friendship I was blessed with a wonderful friendship with Natalie's sweet Momma, Jodie.

You see, when you sit for an hour, week after week, with the same group of girls...you form a bond. I was honored when Jodie asked me to grab a few shots of her extended family. And, as you can see, that sweet little red headed girl is not-so-little anymore...she has become a beautiful girl. Thank you, Jodie!!!

Samantha and Morgan

Can you say personality?! Oh my goodness I loved every second of grabbing a few shots of these girls. They were naturals and so awesome. And, I couldn't help but think about how this will be my own girls in a few years... Shelly, you are so blessed!! And thank you for asking me to capture this moment in time with your beautiful girls!!

Sweet Kendall

If this doesn't put a smile on your face then I don't know what will. Is she not Ah-Dorable!!! Her mom is gorgeous and one of the sweetest people you'll meet so Kendall really can't help her cute-ness! :) It's such a blessing to be able to call Kendall's mom, friend. Thanks Danielle!

Jones Family

I met Tracy the day I started working for Shelby County Schools. She was my life line my first year with the school system. Tracy only worked for SCS one year but our paths continue to cross and for that I'm grateful. Tracy wanted one picture of her girls for a Christmas card and one cousin picture for her mom. I think we achieved it. It wasn't easy...but we did it!

Happy Birthday baby Jesus!

We had an incredible Christmas this year. Christmas Eve was spent at my parents' house. We had a big dinner and then went through our tradition of reading the birth of Jesus from the Bible, reading Twas the Night Before Christmas, and reading Twas the Night Before Jesus Came. The girls could barely contain themselves at this point...it was present time! Leighton was precious and thanked my mom and dad for every gift. She was excited about everything she opened, which in turn excited Ainsley!!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the un-edited Keegan Christmas! :)

My sweet Ainsley...

My little love-bug...

"Reading" Twas the Night Before Christmas with Mem

Hanging with Pop Pop

Leighton's reaction to every gift she got. She was so excited about everything! Her ladybug tea set.

Christian's first Christmas ornament

A pretty pillow with her name on it...her matching blanket came from us and she opened it on Christmas morning!

And Ainsley needed one too!

Handsome like dad...

And an "I love my mom" shirt.

Aaron's plaque from my dad that reads: A man with daughters will be surrounded by beautiful women all of his life." He LOVED it!!!

One of Leighton's favorite gifts...a bracelet that she can switch out the beads...kinda like Mommy's pandora bracelet!

I love this picture. The irony of it just makes me laugh every time. She got a v-reader (which she loves). I can't help but giggle...it's quite obvious she needs the V-Reader since she's modeling it upside down! :)

Opening her American Girl doll...Kanani, the girl of the year!

And this was her "thank you" to her Mem!

Ainsley just realizing she got her American Girl, Carleigh!

Yay!!!! Running to show Mommy!

And her "thank you" to Mem!

My girls and their dolls

On Christmas morning in their jammies...

So excited...

My dad and his OU gift.

Unfortunately, I wasn't good at multi-tasking. Being the photographer and delivering gifts was hard to manage so the camera got pushed to the side. This is where the fun ends...but you get the idea. We had fun and loved every second!! :)

Happy birthday baby Jesus!!!

My Little Rascal

I am extremely proud of Leighton as she was invited to be part of a team at Rivercity Gymnastics. The Rascals are a "pre-competitive" team but will be gearing up for the competition scene. Leighton was 1 of 12-14 girls invited to be on the team (her bestie Lauryn was invited too...yeeha) of girls ages 5-7.

Leighton is beside herself with excitement. I won't lie...I'm a tad anxious about the monetary commitment but Leighton deserves this opportunity. She is talented, has worked hard for this, and we need to give her a chance to see if this continues to be her passion.

Way to go my sweet little rascal! Mommy and Daddy love you and are incredibly proud!!!
