I haven't posted a second post because I have been thinking, "who cares, I'm just writing to myself." But, then I realized that was sort of neat. And I didn't start this blog for readers but to document important parts of our lives for my children to look back at.
So...currently, in our lives...we are a family of 4. Aaron is the development manager for Youth Villages. He works hard, he has earned where he is today, and I am so proud of him! He is the leader of our family and I couldn't have chosen anyone else to fulfill that role!
Leighton is 4...going on 14. She is a leader. She is a pleaser. She is a rule follower. And boy-oh-boy is she smart. She can remember events that happened when she was 2...things that Aaron and I don't remember. Her favorite things are her best friend Lauryn, gymnastics, dresses and skirts, and playing mommy to Ainsley.
Ainsley is 17 months and full of life! She doesn't care a thing about pleasing. She cares only about her little life...and if you mess with her, you're apt to get bit! No joke! Poor Leighton has the marks to prove it. Ainsley loves all things animals, she loves babies, and she loves to dance and twirl.
I am working in the school system as a Speech Pathologist. I love what I do. I love evaluating children, putting the pieces together to diagnose what might be going on this little person's life. So, being a Psychologist is next on my radar...but not for a while. My sweet little girls come first and right now they need their mommy here and not in school!
There's my post about our life at the moment...subject to change, in all aspects, at any time!! :)
